Dr Oliver Ozioko
Dr. Oliver Ozioko is currently a lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Derby, in the UK, and the Chair (2023 and 2024) of the IEEE Sensors Council Young Professionals. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow, UK and has over 10 years of research and teaching experience. Before joining the University of Derby, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Glasgow, UK. He has been involved in several editorial responsibilities in peer reviewed journals such as IEEE Sensors Letters (Associate Editor), Advanced Intelligent Systems (Guest Editor), MDPI (Guest Editor and Topical Advisory Panel member), IET edited book (Co-editor). He has over 30 publications including journals, books, and conferences articles. His research interests include the development/implementation of sensors and actuators for application in electronic skin, robotics, wearable systems, assistive technologies, smart objects, and intelligent systems.
