Dr Temitope Odedeyi

University College London
About

Temitope Odedeyi received the BSc degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 2010 from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University College London (UCL), London, UK, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He is a recipient of the Nigerian Presidential Special Scholarship for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) award.

His research interest spans the analysis and design of electronic systems for high-speed, high-resolution photonically synthesized digital to analog converters, integrated circuit modeling and design, III-V monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), narrowband filter design for photonic applications, and design of RF-spectroscopic test instruments with application in food quality prediction and estimation.

In 2023, he was awarded the prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship. His 5-year fellowship program aims to develop technology solutions to predict and improve crop yields, focusing on sustainable cassava production in sub-Saharan Africa. Dr Odedeyi leverages advances in information, communication and Internet of Things technology to give farmers access to data-driven decision making, optimised resource allocation, and improved post-harvest . This will contribute to sustainable agriculture and food security globally.
