Professor Jesús Doval-Gandoy

Jesús Doval-Gandoy received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Oviedo, in 1987, from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in 1991, and from the University of Vigo, in 1999, respectively.

From 1989 to 1994, he worked in private companies of different industrial sectors (utility grid, automotive and electronics).

He is a Full Professor and Head of the APET research group at the University of Vigo.

His research interests mainly include electric drives and control of power electronics converters for grid-connected applications.
