Professor Kees de Groot

C. H. (Kees) de Groot is Professor of Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnology in Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at Southampton and head of the Sustainable Electronic Technologies group. His main interest is the integration of novel nanomaterials and devices with silicon electronics processing with particular emphasis on the semiconducting properties of oxides, chalcogenides, and carbides. The application areas include photovoltaics and thermo-electric generators for energy harvesting, smart radiative cooling solutions and neuromorphic computing for energy saving.
